JenSpa for Permanent Makeup!
Let us start with the common definition of Permanent Make-up - "Permanent makeup is a cosmetic technique which employs permanent pigmentation of the dermis as a means of producing designs that resemble makeup".

In full disclosure, "permanent" is not accurate. While the procedure IS long lasting, the added pigmentation can and does fade with time.

The best possible color results can perform for many years or may begin to fade over time. How much time is individual per person. While permanent makeup pigment remains in the dermis its beauty-span may be influenced by several possible factors. These can be environmental, procedural and/or individual factors. Sun exposure fades color. The amount and color of pigment deposit at the dermal level can affect the length of time that permanent makeup looks its best. Very natural looking applications are likely to require a touch-up before more dramatic ones for this reason. Individual influences include lifestyles that find an individual in the sun regularly such as with gardening or swimming. Skin tones are a factor in color value changes over time.

The photos presented are a small collection of actual JenSpa patient treatments. The "after" treatment photos were taken immediately following treatment. Within 2 weeks after the procedure, the body will naturally slough off the dead skin cells, and the true color of the permanent make-up will appear. In some cases, a follow-up appointment with the technician may be needed to deepen or balance the colors.
What is permanent make-up ?
Permanent make-up is also called micro-pigmentation or cosmetic tattooing, and it is a procedure in which tiny granules of pigment are implanted a few millimeters below the top layer of skin.
What is the permanent make-up pigment made of ?
The hypo-allergenic, non-biodegradable pigment is made from both organic and inorganic pigments may be used to achieve the desired color. It is always best to have a test patch done prior to treatment.
How is permanent make-up pigmet applied ?
The permanent make-up technician may use one of several application methods or use different equipment to implant the pigments; the employment of one over another depends largely on the part of the body on which the procedure will be performed.
How long does the treatment take?
The length of the procedure will vary depending on which permanent make-up application an individual is undergoing, but is typically a minimum of 90 minutes or longer, especially if more than one application is to be done.
Before undergoing any permanent make-up procedure, you should first have a consultation with our technician to discuss the procedure, the benefits of it and any potential drawbacks. While permanent make-up is not actually permanent - it is long lasting. It is important that you are 100% comfortable with the procedure.

The number one question: Do you offer the natural looking, "feather-stroke" permanent makeup technique? YES! We do, call today for a free consultation.
When we look better outside, we feel better inside!

Permanent make-up may be your answer to a multitude of cosmetic problems.
• Sensitive skin or make-up allergies

• Active outdoor lifestyles causes make-up to wear off quickly

• Hair loss from alopecia, chemo therapy, accidents, burns or cosmetic surgery

• Arthritis resulting in difficulty applying makeup

• Color correction and scar camouflage

• No more getting up early to "put your face on". Go ahead, sleep in!
There may be risks involved - Despite advances in laser technology, removing permanent makeup is a painstaking process, usually involving several treatments and considerable expense. Complete removal without scarring may be impossible. Reports of allergic reactions to pigments have been rare. However, when they happen they may be particularly troublesome because the pigments can be hard to remove. Occasionally, people may develop an allergic reaction to  pigments they have had for years. Granulomas, nodules that may form around material that the body perceives as foreign, such as particles of  pigment. If you are prone to developing keloids - scars that grow beyond normal boundaries - you are at risk of keloid formation from permanent makeup. Keloids may form any time you injure or traumatize your skin. MRI complications. There have been reports of people with tattoos or permanent makeup who experienced swelling or burning in the affected areas when they underwent magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). This seems to occur only rarely and apparently without lasting effects. Individuals who have tattoos or permanent makeup should inform the radiologist or technician of this fact in order to take appropriate precautions and avoid complications.
