Dynamic wrinkles are caused by contractions of the delicate underlying facial muscles every time you smile, laugh or frown. The more emotion you show, the deeper these wrinkles and lines are likely to be. While you may have earned every one of your worry lines, you don't have to show them anymore.
JUVÉDERM® injectable gel (including JUVÉDERM® Ultra, JUVÉDERM® Ultra Plus, JUVÉDERM® Ultra XC, and JUVÉDERM® Ultra Plus XC) is indicated for correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds (such as nasolabial folds). Treatment side effects are usually mild to moderate, lasting 7 days or less, and include temporary injection-site reactions such as redness, pain, firmness, swelling, and bumps. JUVÉDERM® is not for people with severe allergies.
Juvéderm® products are used to reduce the appearance of nasolabial folds. While nasolabial lines are natural and a part of any smile, folds give an aged and tired appearance. Juvéderm® products are made with hyaluronic acid – which is a substance similar to collagen that is naturally found in your skin. While not permanent, hyaluronic injections are a safe alternative and less invasive treatment than a face lift. The injection process generally takes only about 15 minutes. You'll also need to allow time to consult with Dr. Elias prior to treatment.
